Brilliant Blackthorne!

Nick and his team recently finished a project in our house – knocking through a downstairs bathroom and toilet to open up the kitchen and installing a new shower room downstairs and then rearranging the space upstairs to create a bedroom, small office area and bathroom. From start to finish Nick was fantastic. When he came round to give us a quote he was friendly and helpful and his quote was really competitive. We have three young children and from the beginning Nick was thoughtful and understanding. The whole team were friendly and professional and they all worked hard to complete the job which was done to a very high standard. And Nick was always ready and willing to deal with any problems that cropped up along the way. We will definitely be using Blackthorne Building Contractors again and would recommend them to anyone. We’ve now got a fantastic new house which we love and all without too much stress – thanks Nick!

Holiday Inn and Holdiay Inn Express as Hotel Service Provider for Olympic 2012

The Holiday Inn brand of hotels will provide expertise and advice on the planning and operating of the Olympic Village.  Additional Holiday Inn resources will work with London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games during the lead up to the games. Accommodation and meeting rooms will be provided throughout the build and planning period.

London 2012 Chairman Lord Sebastian Coe commented: “Providing a smooth customer experience for athletes, spectators and dignitaries throughout their time at the Games can be a key challenge for any Organising Committee. For us to have Holiday Inn join our family provides us with another great pool of knowledge and skills to ensure that all of those attending the Games, whether from within the UK or from abroad, as competitors or spectators, will have an enjoyable and memorable experience.
